Weddings and Private Events
We love to do weddings, corporate events, private parties and fundraisers.
HOUSE PARTY:
- Full band performed for a 4-hour house party.
- Included the sound-system and state of the art mixing board.
COMMUNITY DAY:
- Full band set up outside under tents.
- METRO played for 3 hours, and ran a 1-hour “open mic” for the residents’ own talent show.
- Included the sound-system with over-sized PA speakers to accommodate the outdoor venue.
CORPORATE EVENT:
- 1 hour classical music performed during a cocktail hour.
- Provided A/V for the dinner roast
- METRO played MC for the dinner roast
- 3-hours of dancing plus personalized break music to compliment their party theme!
- Included the sound-system and state of the art mixing board, fog machine and lights.

BAND BIO
Founded in 2017, The METRO Band is a great dance and party band in the Jacksonville area music scene. METRO plays carefully selected music that is sure to keep everyone’s feet moving all night long - a great mix of the best pop, rock and country songs from the Beatles to Bruno Mars.
Drawing on decades of playing and performing, the members of METRO combine a wide range of backgrounds and experience to create a high energy, professional act. When METRO plays, everyone is having fun!
METRO has the newest, state-of-the art sound system that can handle a small room up to a large ballroom with amazing sound and clarity. They are ready to provide great music and dancing to a private party in a private home, a hall filled with wedding guests or a corporate event.

Liability insurance naming your company can be arraged for your event for a minimal charge.

CEREMONY
We will never forget that this is your big day, and we want to do everything to make it unique. If you would like live music for your ceremony, we can provide an acoustic guitar, a jazzy keyboard, or even a classical pianist!
COCKTAIL HOUR
While your guests enjoy a cocktail hour, let us entertain them with some music. We can arrange anything from an accoutic guitar to classical piano. It’s not time to kick up your heels yet, but let us provide something quieter to set the mood for the night ahead.
RECEPTION or CORPORATE EVENT
It’s time to get the party started! Let us engage your guests to create an evening they will remember! We will learn several new songs for you, and arrange to have even more requests available to play between sets.
